Download the Windows zip, extract it first, then open Simple Browser.exe.
Windows open steps
If Windows says it protected your PC
Extract the zip
Right-click the Windows download and choose Extract All.
Open the folder
Open the extracted Simple Browser folder.
Start the app
Double-click Simple Browser.exe.
Run anyway
If Windows shows a warning, click More info, then click Run anyway.
Only do this for the Simple Browser download from this site. Windows shows this message because this early build is not Microsoft code-signed yet.
Mac open steps
If macOS says it cannot verify Simple Browser
Open the zip
Double-click the downloaded zip file so Simple Browser appears.
Move it
Drag Simple Browser into the Applications folder.
Go to Privacy & Security
Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, then click Open Anyway for Simple Browser.
Open it again
If macOS asks one more time, click Open. After that it should launch normally.
This message appears because this early Mac build is not Apple-notarized yet. The app is locally signed, but full Apple verification needs an Apple Developer account.
Important
Google and YouTube sign-in
Google can block sign-in inside custom browser apps. Simple Browser can open websites, but Google login may still need Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox.
